Even a blind squirrel….

I love blog stats.  They’re little addictive attaboys in the form of incoming links and traffic statistics that make bloggers feel somehow useful and important.  They also lie, but that’s not the point.  The point is that they can be powerful fuel for the blogging fire, almost a scorecard for bloggers who need motivation.

My scorecard has a new entry:  on a whim, I checked the stats for West High Choir Guy (WHCG) today.  Mostly I wanted to see if any of my students or their parents are even looking at it and the oh-so-priceless information it provides.  Imagine my surprise when I discovered a bona fide incoming link!  WHCG got a mention on the Sharing Docs blog back in February for my use of Google Docs to share rehearsal information concerning the WHS production of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast.  It’s quite a compliment.

If only my students knew how cool I am….

    You rule!
I may start using that myself a bit for some scheduling. Wish I could be there to see it live.
